Join us at Tonoquint Park parking lot on Saturday July 5, 2025 at 7:30 am for our quarterly road clean up. Bring water and gloves and sunscreen! Vests and orange bags are provided. Usually takes about an hour and a half to do both sides of Dixie Drive from Tonoquint Park to Valley View Drive. After, we will go to Bishops for no host breakfast. |

Parade of Gardens event Friday September 19- Sunday September 21. This project has 11 show case lawns in Washington County demonstrating the use of garden plants and landscape focusing on water conservation. Volunteers/Docents are needed at show homes to assist home owners in explaining their landscape design, use of water and why their yard is considered water conscience and desert friendly. There are two shifts daily posted at each home. 9-12:30 and 12:30- 4 pm. Volunteer sign up with Conserve Utah is required. National Public Lands Day Volunteer Project with Conserve Utah on Saturday September 27 from 8-11 with a catered thank you lunch after. Volunteer duties will include working in a small group to identify status of replanted desert plants after fire destruction due to arson several years ago. The teams will identify the type and health of the plants and record this data. Teen aged children may assist with adult supervision. Volunteer sign up is required.
