• Travis started banking 18 years ago as a teller with Washington Mutual Bank in Phoenix AZ. Travis worked his way up the ranks to manager with them in Orlando FL. Washington Mutual was acquired by Chase in 2009 and he was with them for 3 years in Boise ID before transitioning to US Bank here in St George.
• Travis grew up with his dad in the Air Force. Relocating every few years is in his blood. He has lived in 9 states and has been to- or through- half of the continental United States.
• Travis was married in 1998. He and his wife have a daughter who is 20 and a son who is 16- a Junior at Snow Canyon High.
• One accomplishment that his daughter enjoys telling everyone is that he (we) has been to Disney World over 200 times. Yes, you heard that right.
• Travis never planned on a banking career. He studied architecture in school, but fell into banking when his father-in-law helped him get his foot in the door and it just stuck.
• Travis loves nature and being in the outdoors as much as possible. His son and he will often find themselves on a trail somewhere on the weekends.
• The craziest thing he has ever done in his life is bungee jumped off a bridge at midnight over a river in the Cascade Mountains of Washington State. And no, he will never do that again!!
