Hi President Charlotte,

As the program chair for the eClub, I'd like to extend an invitation to you and your Dixie Sunrise Club members to join us for a very special presentation from brain-tumor survivor, author and speaker Jodi Orgill Brown. Her presentation, "EverGROWTH: Gaining Strength through Anti-Fragility," will be truly inspiring.

Wednesday, November 10 at 8:00 PM

Jodi Orgill Brown leads with power and authenticity. She is an anti-fragility & post-traumatic growth expert, a nonprofit consultant, corporate trainer, certified coach, professional keynote speaker, award-winning author, and a brain tumor survivor. She earned a Master’s Degree in Organizational Communication from the University of Utah and a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations from BYU. Her memoir, The Sun Still Shines, is a Gold Quill winner for the book of the year and has over 300 reviews and 5-star ratings. Jodi lives her motto that "Every interaction is an opportunity to change a life." She has lived in the Middle East, on both U.S. coasts, and settled in a mountain valley in Utah, but she believes home is anywhere where you invest in and love the people around you. Jodi and her husband, Tolan, have been married for 25 years and are raising 4 children.

New opportunities!

Our Club is launching a new way for you and your friends to be of service!

We will be visiting Snow Canyon State Park monthly, on  on the  second Saturday of the month to do trail maintenance.  Sandi Schwartz will be leading this work project.  See her for more details.

The Reading program has launched!

A Little Library has been placed at Dixie Sun Manor (and adult facility).  That location needs books for adults (westerns, mystery, romance, history, etc.).  If you have recently finished a book or two or have some laying around collecting dust, please bring to the meeting this week - or anytime - to help keep the library supplied

*Note: our community has an endless number of absolutely critical needs and needs help from our citizens.  However, as a Rotary Club we cannot be all things to all people.  So only those service opportunities approved by the Board will be listed in this bulletin.  If you have project you wish our members to support, please submit your request to President Charlotte prior to the Board Meeting each month.   Thank you!

As you are aware, our Club sponsored the Rotary Satellite Club of Southern Utah Veterans.

We are happy to see members of their club joining us from time to time and hope perhaps some of you would like to attend a meeting with them.

They meet on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 5:30 at the Elks Lodge.

Notes of Interest from the Veterans:

The Club has been busy assisting the Marine Corp League with the Toys for Tots Program.

Thanks Veterans Club for your service!
