Before I get to the program.....
We always encourage you to arrive in time to get breakfast, chat a minute with your friends, sit down and be ready to start the meeting prompty at 7:30.
The next three meetings are going to be very unique and special. We need to give our speakers the respect of the full allocation of time for their programs.
Please be exceptionally aware of your arrival and readiness to participate in what's coming these next weeks....

Chief Judge United States District Court Robert Shelby
will be introducing the newly appointed United States District Judge
Ann Marie Mclff Allen
to our Club. Judge Allen will be covering Southern Utah (something which makes Judge Shelby's life less travel filled.)
Again, guests are most welcome! Judge Allen's presence will make a really difference in our community, come and hear her enthusiasm for her new role.
And then, the third leg of the trifecta:
On October 17th, District Goverrnor, Todd Boyer will be making his official visit!
Wow! Could we pack anything more into a three week time frame?

Somethings take a village! The PGA is one of those that will take a huge village with over 400 volunteer opportunities just for parking!
Our club has the opportunity to help out with the PGA tour parking! It's super easy and simple to sign up! Just open this link

Just find the date and time that works best for you! Select your desired location and fill out the information! For the Code Please put SGSR this way we will get the $ for your shift
NOTE ABOUT THE LOCATIONS: All the "Lots" are close to each other and near Black Desert Golf Course. The rest are by location ex: Red Mountain Parkway,Tech Ridge ect.
Shifts are 4 hours each 4 AM to 8 AM, 8 AM to Noon, and Noon till 4 PM

1. Front Row Seats to the Best "Driving" Performances
Who needs to be on the green when you can watch a cavalcade of cars trying to park in neat rows? Volunteering as a parking lot attendant means you get front-row seats to some of the most impressive (and sometimes hilarious) parking maneuvers. You can cheer on those who nail the perfect parallel park and chuckle at those whose attempts are slightly less successful. It's like watching a live-action puzzle, and you're the puzzle master!
2. Raising Money for Good Causes
So, you've just landed a gig earning $95 per slot for a non-profit, and let me tell you, it's going to make you feel like a philanthropic superhero! Here's a funny reason why this modest sum is going to give you all the feel-good vibes:
Imagine this: every time you earn that $, somewhere in the universe, a unicorn gets its wings. Okay, maybe not literally, but think about the good karma points you're racking up! It's like hitting the jackpot in the game of life. You get to walk around with a smug grin, knowing that your hard-earned cash is being funneled into noble causes, like rescuing puppies, planting trees, and maybe even funding the development of an app that translates your cat's meows into Shakespearean sonnets.
3. Networking Opportunities with the Cars of the Rich and Famous
Okay, so you might not rub shoulders with Tiger Woods or Phil Mickelson, but you'll definitely get to see the cars they drive! Imagine directing a Ferrari, a Porsche, or even a custom golf cart to its parking spot. You can even play a fun game of "Guess the Golfer" based on their vehicle's make and model. Who knows? Maybe one day, a famous golfer will roll down their window, and you'll have a chance to chat, making this role not just amusing but potentially star-studded.
Volunteering as a PGA Tour parking lot attendant might not be the most glamorous job, but with these three reasons, it can certainly be one of the most entertaining and rewarding roles you can take on. So, grab your clipboard and whistle, and get ready for a unique, fun-filled experience!
The Huntsman World Senior Games!
The Opening Ceremony (with which we have helped in the past) is on
October 8th. Watch for details in a separate message.
And, also in a separate message, details will be coming your way about our commitment as a Club to the American Cancer Society Southern Utah Golf Fundraiser on October 24th and 25th.
And, of course, food bank work later this month.
Wow, get out your

World Polio Day is October 24th and Sandi will be riding 100 miles (on her Pelaton)) to raise awareness and funds for Polio Eradication on World Polio Day
Contributions will be welcome. Stay tuned for detials.

The next meeting of the Committee to make our major fundraiser a success this year will take place on Sunday, October 13th at Richelle and Darrin's home.
