A Message from President Mike
Michael Branum
member photo
As the president of St. George Sunrise Rotary for the 2023-2024 year, my goal is to sustain the momentum and energy in our club developed by those who have preceded me. Governor Redd’s vision for this year is “The Power of One.” I hope that our members will keep Rotary and the power that we have as Rotarians in mind over this year. Bring one more person to visit Rotary. Donate one more dollar to our international efforts. Give one more hour of your time for a service project. If we each find ways to go just one more, our efforts will have a huge impact in our community and around the world. This club is the best club in the best district in all of Rotary. We’re going to have a great year!

We are happy to see members of their club joining us from time to time and hope perhaps some of you would like to attend a meeting with them.

They meet the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at 6 pm at the Elks Lodge.

Thank You Veterans Club for your service!

The PolioPlus Society

As a Rotarian and supporter of Polio Eradication, Rotary’s Number One Priority, I wish to participate in the Countdown to History as a member of the

PolioPlus Society of District 5240 Joining the Society is a two-step process.

First: Go to https://formsmarts.com/form/28rk or scan the QR code below to fill out the online form indicating your desire to join the Rotary District 5240 PolioPlus Society.

Until the world is polio-free, every child is at risk.

You will receive a PolioPlus Society certificate, PolioPlus Pin and an End Polio Now Bracelet, which will be presented at a club meeting to make sure you are recognized for your commitment to polio eradication. .

Second: make your donation in one of the ways described below.

To make your tax-deductible donation go to myrotary.org/donate and click on “Polio Fund”. You can choose a one-time donation of $100 or more, or a recurring donation in the amount and frequency of your choice (We suggest $10/month as the “easy way” to become a PolioPlus Society member.) Of course, you can also write a check payable to “The Rotary Foundation”, with PolioPlus in the memo section, and give to your club’s Foundation Chair.

Your contribution also qualifies for Paul Harris Recognition Points and will be matched 2 to 1 by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

*Note: our community has an endless number of absolutely critical needs and needs help from our citizens.  However, as a Rotary Club we cannot be all things to all people.  So only those service opportunities approved by the Board will be listed in this bulletin.  If you have project you wish our members to support, please submit your request to President Dave prior to the Board Meeting each month.   Thank you!
