With the Covid status in Southern Utah, the Club will be hosting safe meetings by Zoom for the month of November. We have excellent speakers booked to join us by Zoom (our next two are out of area speakers and would have joined us virtually anyhow!) Our programs are:
This week:
Penny Atkinson, Governor of our Rotary District in 2010-2011 will be introducing us to her newest role with the District; Youth Protection Officer.
November 19th:
John Guyette, Past District Governor of Rotary District 5540 will be sharing with us the wonderful things that have taken place in Saratov, Russia since the charter of the Rotary Club of Saratov
25 years ago.
And, of course, on Thursday, November 26th we hope that all our members will have a meaningful Thanksgiving in whatever way works for each of us and our families.

SERVICE ABOVE SELF
Have you ever considered service to
your Club? Have you thought being a part of the magic of making our Club works as it does sounds interesting? If so, WE NEED YOU!
The Rotary Club of Dixie Sunrise will be led by next year by our current President Elect, Charlotte Shelley.
Would you like to lead our Club the following year? Take it from those of us who have had the privilege of being Club Presidents, it is a most rewarding experience. We have a lifetime of memories.
If you have an interest or even just a slight inclination that you might like to learn more, please contact Charlotte.
In the month of November we will be gathering our winter clothing gifts for the students of Millcreek High School. Items needed include:
I
Socks
Blankets
Gloves
Hats
Sweatshirts
Jackets
Tights
Early in December we will focus on the gift bags for those in our community who receive Meals on Wheels and are mostly "shut in." Please keep those gifts in mind as you shop. Do pick up an extra box of Kleenex, etc. as you shop.
