THIS WEEK'S PROGRAM:
April 14th
Business After Hours Social at the
"Honor, Courage, Commitment: Marine Corps Art,
1975-2018"
This traveling art exhibition from the National Museum of the Marine Corps and is sponsored by the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation. This exhibit includes 36 works by 15 combat artists, portraying Marine Corps service from the mid-1970s through the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
We will have a private showing of the exhibition from 5:00 to 6:00
with light refreshments.
There is no cost to members OR guests. Please come and bring your guests to share this opportunity to view the impactful exhibit.
The Museum is located at 47 E 200 North
(across the street from the Post Office.)

As you are aware, our Club sponsored the Rotary Satellite Club of Southern Utah Veterans.
We are happy to see members of their club joining us from time to time and hope perhaps some of you would like to attend a meeting with them.
They meet the 2nd Thursday of the month at 5:30 at the Elks Lodge.

And, finally, a weekly update on the
war on polio......
WILD POLIO VIRUS, TYPE 1 - Once again, no new cases of the wild
poliovirus this week.
EIGHTY-THREE - The number of days since the last case of WPV1 occurred
in Afghanistan.
ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY-EIGHT – The number of days since the last case of WPV1 occurred in Malawi.
ONE YEAR AND 69 DAYS - The number of days since the last case of WPV1 occurred in Pakistan.
ONE - The total number of cases of WPV1 that has occurred in 2022 year-to-
date (In Afghanistan on January 14th).
SIX - The total number of cases of WPV1 that occurred in 2021 (1 in Pakistan, 1 in Malawi and 4 in Afghanistan).
ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY - The total number of cases of WPV1 that occurred in 2020.
Also, once again, there were no new cases of wild Positive Environmental Samples (ES) reported as well. So the total count of wild ES for 2022 remains at zero, and for the year 2021 remains at 66 (65 in Pakistan and 1 in Afghanistan), with the last ES discovered in Pakistan on December 6th.
