• Alex has been married to her partner in crime, Mike for 7 years. Although they don't have kids YET they have made up for it with chickens, a bunny, Clovie their boxer, and Monroe their horse. Alex and Mike are both in hospitality. She is a Director of Sales for the Fairfield Inn, Hilton Garden Inn, Holiday Inn and Hyatt Place. He is the Chief Engineer for the Holiday Inn.

• In addition to their day jobs, they own a small Lawn & Yard care business. (Really its Mike's business. Alex was fired for being a perfectionist and complaining about the heat in the dead of summer!) A few times a week Alex and Mike also help take care of Mike's sweet grandpa who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease.

• Alex has served almost 5 years in Rotary. She also serves on the Board for Habitat for Humanity, A.R.T.S Inc. and is on the Membership Committee for the St George Area Chamber.

• In her spare time (there isn't much of that!) Alex likes to camp, kayak, hike, swim, go shooting, read, and watch or listen to true crimes. Alex LOVEs travelling. She like’s vacations to be busy busy busy but also does love to just relaxing in the mountains or on a beach at times. One skill Alex wishes she had is to be able to sing… well. She CAN sing, just not in any sort of key that sounds great! Watch out though, one of her talents is shooting, don't make her mad! She is also a dang good cook.

• Alex has been sky-diving and has jumped off cliffs and slid down rocks- kind of like canyoneering. Alex is really proud of her career and how hard she has worked to get to where she is. She says: “Also, I'm the freakin President of the COOLEST Rotary Club! How cool is that??" She could not live without Coffee, according to her everything else is negotiable.

• Growing up Alex went by Ali, but feels like Alex fits her better. Her mom calls her Zanny and when she is in trouble Mike calls her Janice. One of her favorite quotes is: “Whether you think you can, or think you can't, you're right" - Henry Ford
