A Message from President Mike

As the president of St. George Sunrise Rotary for the 2023-2024 year, my goal is to sustain the momentum and energy in our club developed by those who have preceded me. Governor Redd’s vision for this year is “The Power of One.” I hope that our members will keep Rotary and the power that we have as Rotarians in mind over this year. Bring one more person to visit Rotary. Donate one more dollar to our international efforts. Give one more hour of your time for a service project. If we each find ways to go just one more, our efforts will have a huge impact in our community and around the world. This club is the best club in the best district in all of Rotary. We’re going to have a great year!

Our program this week:
Technology in the Rotary world!
 
 
A group of Club tech users will lead a "how to" session on the use of our Club technology and how to successfully navaigate it.
Lil, can answer the burning question "how do I pay my dues on line."
Richelle can help you figure out how to register for an event.
Marla will fill you in on how to complete your demographic page.
AND, by the way, Marla will be available to get your photo taken and inserted into the directory.
 
Next week:
 
Dr. Howard McCleod of Utah Tech University will be with us.
Dr. McCleod, in partnership with Dr. Lincoln Nadauld, are leading the Center for Precision & Functional Genomics.
Functional genomics is an area of research focused on newly-discovered mutations and the role they play on human health.

Are you ready to show off your golf skills and your crazy socks?  Then you don't want to miss our Crazy Socks BigShots Golf Event, happening Thursday, June 6th. This is a great opportunity to enjoy some friendly competition, network with other golf enthusiasts, make some new friends and, of course, raise some money. 
 
 
To make things more interesting we are having a crazy sock contest each week at our breakfast meetings! All you have to do is wear your most outrageous, colorful, or creative socks and you could win a gift card, swag, or other awesome rewards.  the crazier the socks, the better the chances of winning!
