Rotarians around the area are gathering to provide a Halloween experience for the children in Halchita. Due to the distance it is not practical for most of our members to travel to the site, however, Art Haines will be making a trip in that direction and will deliver our donations of candy, tooth brushes, and other small items for the children. Please bring your donations this week and next.

New opportunities!
Our Club is launching a new way for you and your friends to be of service!
We will be visiting Snow Canyon State Park monthly, on on the second Saturday of the month (this month that will fall on October 13th) to do trail maintenance. Sandi Schwartz will be leading this work project. See her for more details.

The Reading program has launched! If you have just a little time and a love for children, please consider being a part of the reading with 3rd grades project. Please see Alicia, Dennis, or Sandi for more details.
Our Club will again be participating in honoring those veteran's in our community who have passed on by placing flags on the veterans' graves at the Tonaquint Cemetery. Stay tuned for details.
*Note: our community has an endless number of absolutely critical needs and needs help from our citizens. However, as a Rotary Club we cannot be all things to all people. So only those service opportunities approved by the Board will be listed in this bulletin. If you have project you wish our members to support, please submit your request to President Charlotte prior to the Board Meeting each month. Thank you!

As you are aware, our Club sponsored the Rotary Satellite Club of Southern Utah Veterans.
We are happy to see members of their club joining us from time to time and hope perhaps some of you would like to attend a meeting with them.
They meet on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 5:30 at the Elks Lodge.
