One Thousand Back Packs for Washington County School District needy Kids. In Washington County Utah School District there are almost 1,000 homeless school age children that have to begin the school year without the require school supplies to attend classes. We partner with the Back Packs for Kids foundation and provided $2,000 and 45 volunteers with 135 hours of volunteer work to assemble 1,000 back packs with school supplies. The back packs are distributed to the children prior to start of the school year to ensure they have what they need as they start school and eliminates any possible embarrassment.
