In February we packed almost 4,000 bags of food and fed over 800 people.
We had a large group of 62 volunteers/ 186 hours of volunteer service for the February 2022 food bagging at the Utah Food Bank. These volunteers packed 3,540 bags of donated food. Our Thursday and Friday food drives were met with chilly weather but with continued dedicated volunteers. We had 20 volunteers on Thursday and 22 volunteers on Friday with combined 126 hours of volunteer service. On Thursday and Friday we feed over 800 people. The Utah Food bank continues to reap praise on these volunteers that work diligently to meet the need of Washington county food insufficiency. These volunteers are what make these food drives possible. Our thanks also extend to the Utah Food bank whose staff, and truck drivers are committed to feeding the hungry.
