The two day combined food drive, and one day food bagging fed about 850 people due to the ongoing efforts of 110 volunteers with 400 volunteer hours. We bagged 5,000 bags of food for distribution.

The start of a new year can also mean continued need for food donations for many St. George and Washington City residents. The two day combined food drive, and one day food bagging fed about 850 people due to the ongoing efforts of 110 volunteers with 400 volunteer hours. We bagged 5,000 bags of food for distribution. 2660 bags went to the mobile pantry bags for community need. 1250 of these bags feed the mobile school pantry. We offer continued thanks to our many volunteer that represent many Mormon church branches, Dixie Sunrise rotary members, Sunriver hiking and single clubs and many other St. George/Washington city residents. The Utah food bank and its staff pick up these donated food items and make many other food drop offs each month to non-profit agencies.
