Another busy month for Dixie Sunrise.
The last 30 days have given the Dixie Sunrise Rotarians many heartwarming memories. First near the end of October The Dixie Sunrise Rotary distributed dictionaries to 3rd graders in the rural areas near St. George. The purpose of this program is to promote literacy at an early age. Along with the dictionaries the students were given a tutorial on the use and importance of a dictionary.
Also in the last 30 days Dixie Sunrise Rotary has collaborated with the Utah Food Bank making up food boxes and distributing them to families in need. Over 150 volunteers helped on these two separate service projects and over 2100 people received food. The need is greater than ever right now and Dixie Sunrise Rotary is stepping up to meet the challenge
