800 people fed in September. 
For September our monthly food bagging and two day food drive fed 800 people. We had assistance from 90 volunteers, with 275 volunteer hours. We had a first time mode of transportation when one person drove up to receive their donated foods in his golf cart. There were many dogs and kids in cars that wanted to assist getting the food items into their cars. One car had his Christmas lights he was getting ready to put up at his home. As he said, it's never too early to think of Christmas spirit. Spirit is a good word for all the good deeds that get done by our volunteers, and the many food donation suppliers. The next few months will prove even busier as we approach the holidays with so many people having concerns about having adequate food for themselves, families and community members.
