For August 2021, our club prepared 3,500 boxes and bags of donated food at the Utah Food Bank on Wednesday. On Thursday and Friday we had a mobile drive through and distributed food to 800 people. We had 122 volunteers and accumulated 345 hours of volunteer time. We have been lucky to have assisting us members of Dixie Rotary club, Sun River Hiking club, Sun River Singles club, other Sun River residents, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints church members and Elders, Southern Utah Veterans Rotary Club, medical students from Rocky Vista Medical school, Root for Kids staff, and other invited friends and St. George City residents. We would not be able to feed these many people without their generous volunteer hours and community spirit of giving and helping others.
